Anthony Clarke and his family set out to establish a winery in the rich alluvial soil and excellent climatic conditions of Moama and from the 1998's first planting Silverfox wines has been awarded the Australian Alternative Wine Growers show prize for the 2003 Verdelho.

Silverfox wines are rapidly becoming known for their superb Sangiovese and Verdelho vintage

Traditionally, Sangiovese has been grown in Italy, and is a relatively new variety to Australia providing a fresh alternative to Shiraz and it can be served chilled Verdelho is a refreshing alternative Chardonnay which is fruit drive and the Silverfox varieties are establishing a reputation for their fine, and slightly exotic flavours.  Perhaps our Foxy Lady, a Verdelho picked late for that honey sweetness if the style for you.

If fortified's are to your liking you cannot go past the 7 exciting blends of Tawny port tasting straight from the barrels. 

Imagine the unique aromas when you sip from the Oak barrel's aged Tawny, or perhaps the old spirit-barrelled Whiskey, Bourbon or Brandy Tawny's. You have to savour the Toohey's Beer Barrel Tawny.

It's easy to get to Silverfox Wines being only 2.9 Klms down Perricoota road.  Or if you're travelling by river, stop on the Echuca side of the 1702 marker and take the short 250 metre walk across Perricoota road.
