Anthony Clarke and his family set out to establish a winery in the rich alluvial soil and excellent climatic conditions of Moama and from the 1998's first planting Silverfox wines has been awarded the Australian Alternative Wine Growers show prize for the 2003 Verdelho.

Traditionally, Sangiovese has been grown in Italy, and is a relatively new variety to Australia providing a fresh alternative to Shiraz and it can be served chilled Verdelho is a refreshing alternative Chardonnay which is fruit drive and the Silverfox varieties are establishing a reputation for their fine, and slightly exotic flavours. Perhaps our Foxy Lady, a Verdelho picked late for that honey sweetness if the style for you.
